If the goal is to achieve pregnancy, we learn to identify ovulation and fertility patterns to increase the chances of getting pregnant. We work on areas of physical health but also psychological and emotional aspects associated with the process of trying to get pregnant and/or with the infertility diagnose.
If the objective is to avoid pregnancy, we learn to identify the fertile window without the need for contraceptive hormonal therapy. At the same time, we work on issues related to physical and psychological well-being, towards optimizing reproductive health.
Through fertility therapy sessions, individual and personalized support is provided , considering the objective of family planning and/or optimizing the reproductive health of the woman and/or couple, and always bearing in mind the different physical, psychological, social/relational components.
Sessions are held via video call and available in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
My name is Liliana Rodrigues. I have a degree in Clinical Psychology and I am a Fertility Therapist certified in Fertile Body Method ® and as a Natural Family Planning instructor by the Natural Family Planning Teachers' Association (United Kingdom).
It took me 5 years to become a mother and only then, at the age of 37, I realized that I did not actually know how my body worked and what was happening during my menstrual cycles. I was not aware of the factors in my control to enhance my fertility and my chances of getting pregnant. At the same time, the fact of not being properly informed for many years did not allow me to take the best decisions for my health and my life. The doctors did not bother to explain it to me and at the end they just referred me to fertility treatments.
Now, with my daughter in my arms, I have enough knowledge and experience to help other women and couples achieve a correct and necessary level of knowledge about their fertility and reproductive health, and to feel supported in a holistic approach (physical, psychological and emotional), which allows them to make the best decisions for their lives, whether to enhance their chances of becoming parents or to avoid pregnancy without hormonal contraceptives.
